Glazed Sweet Chili Shrimp

Ingredients:

1.5 lb jumbo or extra large shrimp, peeled and deveined 750 g
1 cup FRANK'S® Red Hot® Sweet Chili Sauce, divided 250 mL
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion 50 mL

Directions:

THREAD shrimp on metal skewers. Baste shrimp generously with 1/2 cup (125 mL) Sweet Chili Sauce.

GRILL shrimp over medium heat about 5 minutes until shrimp turn pink, turning once. Sprinkle with green onion.

SERVE shrimp with additional 1/2 cup (125 mL) Sweet Chili Sauce for dipping.

Tips:

Shrimp may be cooked on an electric grill pan or under a broiler.

Garnish plate with lemon or lime wedges. A drizzle of juice brings out the flavour in shrimp.
