Thai Chicken Sandwich

Ingredients:

1/2 cup prepared salsa 125 mL
1 tbsp chopped fresh basil or cilantro 15 mL
4 fresh breaded chicken breast cutlets 4
8 tbsp FRANK'S® Red Hot® Sweet Chili Sauce, divided 120 mL
4 romaine, leaf or Boston lettuce leaves 4
4 kaiser buns, split in half and toasted 4

Directions:

COMBINE salsa and basil or cilantro in small bowl; set aside.

COOK chicken cutlets according to package directions until golden brown. Brush each side of cutlets with 1 tbsp (15 mL) Sweet Chili Sauce.

PLACE chicken cutlets on bottom of buns. Top each with 1 lettuce leaf and 2 tbsp (30 mL) salsa. Cover with bun tops.

Tips:

Substitute grilled chicken breasts for the breaded cutlets.

Substitute cooked pork or veal schnitzel for the chicken.
